June 2 – 3, 2018

This weekend was wonderfully relaxing. As per our usual routine, I rode the bus up to Harriston where J picked me up and we drove back to Port Elgin together. It was a breezy but comfortable evening as we headed to Chester’s for a small bite to eat. J introduced his new car, Aurora, to me. I have to admit, as he was gushing about her qualities, I too was admiring her; the minimalist details and clean lines deeply satisfied the Type A in me. She is definitely a little (silent) rocket ship.

Our weekend was filled with a lot of back and forths but it was definitely enjoyable to do it together. I’m slowly beginning to see the charm in Port Elgin, and the region of Bruce County more and more. It’s a completely different feel up North, and being surrounded by nature allows for less distraction. I hate to admit it but I think I’m beginning to fall in love with Saugeen Shores.
