Ever since I developed the migraines, I had to go back to basics and build up my strength. It’s been a while since I had a good work out and I knew it would be a long road to get back to where I was a year ago.

Today, I felt good strong enough to go for a light jog. Well, 3.8KM to be exact. I took it slow: a slight cramp and a small ache here and there but it all turned out alright. Shortly into the jog, I found my pace and let my soul soar.

It was beautiful.

I’m determined to keep going, and build on my physical strength.
